APV designed, developed, and operates a robust 24/7 case management system that enables the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to identify fraudulent providers, suspend billing privileges, and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse across the Medicare & Medicaid programs. The system supports the processing of over 30,000 claims, significantly reducing backlogs, accelerating adverse legal actions, and protecting taxpayer dollars.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) manages two critical injury compensation programs—the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP). APV spearheaded the modernization of the legacy injury compensation claims review process, transforming it into a modern, cloud- based case management system built on Salesforce—streamlining workflows, improving data visibility, and accelerating case resolution through a secure, scalable enterprise platform.

Ensuring the integrity of federal contracts and grants is critical to protecting public funds, and APV plays a key role in supporting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) with this mission. To help prevent suspended and debarred entities from receiving government funding, APV designed and developed the Present Responsibility Integrity Management System (PRIMS) — a comprehensive, Appian-based case management platform for the HHS Office of Recipient Integrity Coordination. PRIMS replaces manual spreadsheets with automated workflows, enabling secure document tracking, transparent suspension and debarment processes, audit-ready approval trails, and exportable case data. APV also provides ongoing operations, maintenance, and enhancements under a multi-year contract, incorporating emerging technologies such as AI and RPA to streamline case processing further, strengthen oversight, and safeguard federal dollars.

The USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP) develops and enforces national standards for organically produced agricultural products in the United States. The NOP also safeguards the integrity of the USDA Organic Seal by accrediting certifying agents, overseeing compliance, and investigating violations under the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990. As the organic industry continues to grow into a multibillion-dollar industry, NOP required a robust, scalable approach to ensure third-party certifiers, inspectors, farmers, and ranchers are properly trained and equipped to carry out enforcement actions. APV designed, developed, and maintained the Organic Integrity Learning Center (OILC), a modern training and certification platform that supports the professional development and continuing education of professionals working to protect organic integrity worldwide.
